We sing a song that says, “Purer in heart, O God, help me to be; may I devote my life wholly to Thee.” In Matthew 5:8, Jesus extols this virtue of purity: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Jesus was emphasizing the inner person, the motive, the “heart.” A pure heart can only be achieved through God. He cleanses our consciences through the blood of Jesus. But it is also a goal for which we should strive as a Christian. God’s word is entirely directed toward this goal, and purity of heart is a constant challenge to every Christian. God desires for each of us is totally realistic.

We hope you will join us for our White Elephant Christmas Party on Friday, December 9th at 6:30pm. We will have dinner (provided) and enjoy some fellowship. If you plan on participating in the white elephant gift exchange please bring a wrapped gift (up to $10 value) per person. This gift can be something nice or funny, new or a recycled gift. boys to Men Campout

Men of ALL ages are invited to join us for our annual “boys to MEN Campout” on Friday/Saturday, November 11th and 12th. We’ll start on Friday at 6pm. We encourage you to attend and invite someone to come with you. We will have dinner on Friday, enjoy a toasty campfire, spend some time in God’s Word and have plenty of fellowship. We will conclude on Saturday morning with breakfast. We encourage you to come for the entire event but if you’re unable, please join us for whatever portion you can. If you do not wish to brave the elements overnight, the building will be open to sleep inside with the heat. For those wishing to stay all night, be sure to bring a tent and other necessities. We will be passing out FREE backpacks and supplies on Saturday, July 16th from 11-1pm while supplies last. We will also be offering free, back-to-school haircuts and Kroger’s The Little Clinic will be onsite to offer information on sports/school immunizations. Join us for our Easter Breakfast & Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 9-11am. Breakfast registration is closed. But you can still join us for the egg hunt which starts at 10am. The Easter Bunny will be there for pics as well. Please note, all are welcome to attend; however, the Egg Hunt is for ages newborn – 12 yrs old.
